1. Lawful, authorized use
Customer may use FollowScreens only for lawful organizational purposes and only with content, audio, systems, accounts, and devices it is authorized to use. Customer must comply with privacy, recording, accessibility, intellectual-property, communications, export, sanctions, and other applicable laws.
2. Prohibited activity
Customer must not:
- Use the service for harassment, threats, exploitation, stalking, discrimination, fraud, impersonation, or unlawful surveillance.
- Upload or transmit malware, credential theft, destructive code, or content intended to compromise a person, device, account, provider, or network.
- Probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with authentication, tenant isolation, rate limits, entitlements, metering, security, or service availability.
- Use another church’s tenant, Viewer route, live room, account, installation, or data without authorization.
- Resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, scrape, or use the service to build a competing dataset or generalized AI model except where law cannot restrict that activity.
- Submit content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
- Use automated captions or translations as certified interpretation, emergency instructions, or the sole communication method where errors could cause injury.
3. Audio, attendees, and sensitive content
Customer controls the church audio source and is responsible for required notices or consent. Do not intentionally route private conversations, counseling, confessions, medical discussions, financial information, children’s personal information, or other sensitive material into a live caption or translation stream unless the feature, permissions, notices, and legal basis are appropriate.
Do not ask attendees to provide passwords, payment-card data, government identifiers, health information, or other unnecessary sensitive data through Viewer notes, feedback, Smart Links, or FSPresent content.
4. Intellectual property
Customer must have permission to present and transmit lyrics, Bible translations, images, videos, graphics, slides, links, and recordings. A church’s permission to display content on a sanctuary screen does not automatically establish permission to redistribute it to personal devices or retain it after service.
5. Resource use
Do not leave speech or live-room sessions open unnecessarily, create artificial viewers, generate abusive traffic, evade plan limits, or consume provider resources unrelated to legitimate services. FollowScreens may apply reasonable technical limits and investigate anomalous usage.
6. Enforcement and reporting
We may remove content, limit functionality, suspend access, preserve evidence, or contact authorities when reasonably necessary to address a violation, security threat, legal obligation, or risk of harm. Where appropriate, we will consider severity, history, intent, and the possibility of cure.
