1. Scope and roles
This Privacy Policy applies to FollowScreens websites, customer accounts, FS Monitor, FS Viewer, support, and related services operated by Dalexity Investments LLC, doing business as FollowScreens.
For church account, billing, website, security, and support information, FollowScreens generally determines why and how data is processed. For church-directed service content—such as audio, captions, translations, slides, and attendee-submitted notes—the church generally determines the purpose and FollowScreens processes the information to provide the service. Attendees should also review notices provided by the church operating the service.
2. Information we process
Account and church information
- Name, email address, authentication identifiers, account role, and security events.
- Church name, address, website, phone, time zone, service schedule, Viewer slug, membership, and linked installations.
- Subscription, plan, trial, entitlement, usage, invoice, and payment-method summary information. Payment card details are handled by the payment processor and are not stored by FollowScreens.
Live-service and Viewer information
- Church-supplied audio sent through FS Monitor for speech recognition or translation.
- Captions, translations, lyrics, Scripture, slide text, images, links, service status, and content classifications.
- Viewer connection information, church route, language and accessibility preferences, approximate presence counts, device/browser characteristics, and diagnostic events.
- Optional notes, transcript-delivery email, feedback, or support content submitted by a person.
Technical information
- IP address, timestamps, request and response metadata, authentication events, software version, installation identifier, error codes, performance, latency, and security logs.
- Necessary browser storage, cookies, or similar technologies used for sign-in, security, Viewer preferences, and service operation.
3. How we use information
- Provide church accounts, Viewer routing, live rooms, captions, translation, content delivery, billing, support, and product updates.
- Authenticate users, protect tenants, prevent trial abuse, enforce entitlements, and secure the service.
- Measure live-service usage, provider cost, reliability, latency, and aggregate Viewer presence.
- Send transactional messages such as verification, password recovery, trial-ending notice, receipts, security alerts, service-requested transcripts, and support responses.
- Comply with law, enforce agreements, and investigate misuse.
- Improve accessibility and reliability using aggregated, deidentified, or appropriately controlled information.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use church audio, caption text, translation text, or attendee notes for targeted advertising. We do not use Customer Content to train our own generalized AI models.
4. How information is shared
We share information only as reasonably necessary with:
- Cloud and infrastructure providers for hosting, live rooms, networking, security, and storage.
- Authentication and database providers for accounts, organizations, access control, and service state.
- Speech and translation providers to process church-supplied audio or text when those features are enabled.
- Payment providers to create subscriptions, collect payment, issue invoices, and manage billing.
- Email providers to deliver account, billing, support, or user-requested messages.
- Connected services at Customer direction, such as presentation software or links selected by the church.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or transaction parties when required by law, necessary to protect rights and safety, or connected with a business reorganization subject to appropriate protections.
Providers are permitted to process information only for contracted services and their own legal obligations. Current providers may include Supabase, Cloudflare, AssemblyAI, Stripe, Google authentication services, and an email-delivery provider. The exact provider mix may change as the service develops.
5. Retention
We retain account, organization, billing, entitlement, audit, and security records for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain business records. Live-room state is intended to be short-lived. Caption, translation, note, transcript, feedback, and support content is retained only as needed for the enabled feature, church instructions, delivery, security, or support.
Retention periods are being finalized before public launch. Until then, churches should not submit content that requires a legally mandated deletion schedule or regulated archival commitment without a written agreement with FollowScreens.
6. Privacy choices and requests
Depending on location and applicable law, a person may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of personal information, or may appeal a denied request. Because a church controls some live-service information, we may direct an attendee request to the relevant church.
Submit requests to support@followscreens.com. Include enough information for us to identify the account, church, or Viewer interaction. We may verify identity and authority before acting. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority. We will not discriminate against a person for exercising applicable privacy rights.
FollowScreens does not sell personal data or process it for targeted advertising, so no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out is presently required. If that practice changes, we will update this policy and provide legally required choices before beginning it.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including tenant-scoped authorization, restricted service credentials, protected secret storage, encryption in transit where supported, access controls, and audit records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Customers must protect administrator credentials, church computers, audio devices, Viewer links, and connected third-party services and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
8. Children
FollowScreens is sold to churches and organizations and is not directed to children under 13. Children should not create administrator accounts or independently submit personal information. Churches using FS Viewer in programs involving children are responsible for appropriate supervision, notices, consent, and feature configuration. If we learn that personal information was collected directly from a child contrary to this policy, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.
9. International processing
FollowScreens is operated from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other places where service providers operate. Before offering the service in a jurisdiction requiring additional transfer terms or a data-processing agreement, the Customer must obtain the appropriate written documentation from FollowScreens.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the product, providers, or law changes. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and communicated through reasonable channels.
