Our goal
FollowScreens aims to support the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as the product moves toward public release. This is a goal and development standard, not a claim that every current page, preview feature, third-party component, or generated caption meets every success criterion.
What we are doing
- Using semantic structure, keyboard-operable controls, visible focus, readable contrast, responsive layouts, and text scaling.
- Designing FS Viewer around language selection, captions, larger text, reduced distraction, and accessible service content.
- Providing browser-based FS Viewer access without congregant app installation or attendee account creation.
- Testing important workflows with assistive technologies and multiple device orientations.
- Keeping interactive product displays user-controlled rather than auto-rotating.
- Building accessibility and failure testing into the release checklist.
Known limitations
Automated captions and translations may be delayed or inaccurate and may perform differently across languages, speakers, audio systems, and environments. Third-party checkout, authentication, presentation software, linked websites, and provider interfaces are not fully controlled by FollowScreens. Preview and alpha features may have unresolved accessibility issues.
Church-provided slides, images, links, color choices, text, and audio quality can affect the attendee experience. FollowScreens cannot guarantee that Customer Content is accessible.
Requesting help or an alternative
If a page, form, Viewer experience, document, or account task is difficult to use, tell us what you were trying to do, the page or church Viewer address, the device/browser, and any assistive technology involved. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or private sermon/counseling content.
We will acknowledge accessibility feedback and work toward a reasonable alternative while investigating the underlying issue. Response times may vary during alpha and beta development.
